Linkedin is a website used to network and make connections regarding internships and jobs. It gives people the opportunity to connect and see what experience others have. Professors, students, and people that work corporate jobs use Linkedin. It's popular because it is a good way for people to find internships. I like how on Linkedin it gives you suggestions of people that you may know. I will try to connect with more people on my account. Networking is very imperative when you are in the communications field and looking for opportunities.Many people that attend a university should have a profile on Linkedin. There are a lot of companies that are always looking to hire new people. Internships are very popular around the spring semester, because usually students want internships the following summer.
